A Supernatural Romance Simulator

A Date with Death is a captivating supernatural romance chat simulator visual novel about a week-long bet with the Grim Reaper. Your goal is to try and keep your soul, but the journey is filled with charm and intrigue. Create your own character, from appearance to pronouns, decorate your apartment, and spend the (possible) last week of your life getting to know the one hunting for your soul.

Custom Character Creation

Build your own protagonist, from their physical appearance to their pronouns and name. Update them throughout the game as you navigate through the story. The character you create will be unique and reflective of your personality, making each interaction more personal and engaging.

Room Design and Furry Friends

Decorate your apartment to your liking and create a cozy space that you’ll love coming back to. But that’s not all—snuggle up with your furry (or scaly) companion and let their cute antics help you unwind. Whether your pet is a dog or something more exotic, they will be by your side throughout your journey.

Choices That Matter

Make decisions that will affect your character’s fate and lead you to one of multiple possible endings. What kind of relationship will you have with the Grim Reaper? Will you resist his charm or fall for him? The choices are yours, and the path you choose will shape your story in meaningful ways.

The game features gorgeous original art that makes the Grim Reaper not just a character, but a handsome and intriguing figure. Just don’t tell him it’ll go to his head—after all, he’s the one who’s supposed to take your soul.

Main Story and DLCs

The main story of A Date with Death will always be free, but if you’d like to support the game and get some extras, then you can purchase our two optional DLCs. The Expansion DLC offers extra character customization options, additional choices and conversations throughout all days, and one additional ending with a new CG. It adds some small additional goodies to the free base game.

Beyond the Bet DLC

For those who want more, the Beyond the Bet DLC adds five brand new days of chatting and calling with your favorite babygirl reaper. It also includes brand new art from the original game artist Fuyuure and four new endings that lead into your future (or not) with Grim. This DLC is a huge content addition that offers an entirely new offshooting storyline and many additional days of chatting.
