Storyline

The ancient holy island of Avalan, once home to enigmatic sky wizards, is now threatened by an unholy monk. This dark figure has stolen the island’s sacred relics and shattered the legendary master sword, Excalibruh. The monk has also assembled an formidable army, ready to face anyone who dares to challenge him. Your mission is to find the pieces of the broken sword and send the monk back to his dingy lair.

Gameplay

Your adventure begins as you search for the 44 pieces of Excalibruh scattered across the vast 256-screen map of Avalan. The final piece is guarded by the monk himself, accessible only once you have collected all other fragments. With each piece you find, you edge closer to reassembling the master sword, which will be the key to defeating the monk.

The game underwent rigorous testing by Trevor Storey, Stuart Collier, and Louie Dimovski. The packaging design was handled by Trevor Storey and Jason ‘Kenz’ Mackenzie. Additional code and cartridge development were contributed by Mike Robertson. Trevor Storey’s concept for the PSYTRONIK COLLECTION ranges laid the groundwork for this exciting release.
