This game is currently in an early development stage. While it has a comprehensive release plan, only Bastien’s route, Sofia’s route, Guillaume’s route, Leopold’s route, and the TROS POV, along with the Backer Reward scenes, have been completed and included in this initial download.

Game Overview

This game is the sequel to “The Rose of Segunda.” For more information about the previous game, visit the official page on Black Cross Taylor’s itch.io site (https://blackcrosstaylor.itch.io/tros).

Storyline and Setting

Two years after the events of “Rose,” Segunda is on the precipice of civil war. The disgraced House Stavizzi and the Royal House of Vilquine have gathered at the city of Garllucio in a last-ditch attempt to avoid the impending bloodshed.

Players can pick up the story as Iolanthe di Parisi, navigating this complex world of political intrigue and double-dealing. The game promises an engaging narrative with multiple plot twists.

Game Features

The game will feature approximately 1,500,000 words spread across seven character routes, making it significantly longer than its predecessor, “The Rose of Segunda.” Players will have the option to begin the game with their current lover or remain loveless to pursue one of two new love interests: Sir Mathys Aurele or Ambassador Vesela Brovik.

Nine returning characters from “Rose” will be included with updated outfits. Additionally, new character sprites by the original artist will feature the Duchess di Parisi, King Auguste of Segunda, Count Pieto Triste, Sir Mathys Aurele, Ambassador Vesela Brovik, Lord Marc De Souza, and Cosima Venitti.

The game will also include fifteen love interest point-of-view scenes from “The Rose of Segunda” and twenty-three love interest point-of-view scenes from “The Thorns of War.” Six scenes set between the games will be chosen by Kickstarter backers.

Current Release Schedule

The following routes and scenes have already been released: Bastien’s route, Sofia’s route, Backer extra rewards scenes, Guillaume’s route, The Rose of Segunda love interest POV scenes, and Leopold’s route. The game also includes a Loveless route with over 1,230,000 words.

Frederique’s route and Charlotte’s route are still in development. Additionally, TTOW (The Thorns of War) POV scenes and other content are also pending release.
