Urban Strife APK combines classic turn-based strategy with post-apocalyptic survival and RPG elements. Assemble a band of eccentric locals into your militia, forge alliances with local factions, and confront those you despise. Gather valuable loot to restore your shelter, tend to your injuries, and maintain your supplies. With people to feed, alcohol to brew, and a world in chaos, can you defy fate, navigate treacherous gangs, and fend off the relentless zombie hordes with only a motley crew of militia at your side?

Unique Gameplay Experience

Immerse yourself in a captivating mix of traditional turn-based strategy, survival mechanics set in a post-apocalyptic world, and an engaging RPG narrative. Powered by the cutting-edge Unreal Engine, Urban Strife features realistic bullet ballistics, a dynamic day/night cycle, fire that interacts with materials in real-time, advanced sound and smoke effects, AI NPCs with their own lives and motivations, as well as systems for hunger, injuries, and illness. As we approach the end of Early Access, we’re also excited to introduce advanced modding support.

The Hero’s Journey

Your adventure begins as an enigmatic patient rescued from a CDC facility in Atlanta. You awaken in the Urban Shelter, located deep in the southern United States, where kind-hearted survivors nurse you back to health. As you regain your strength, you must step up as a leader to rebuild the devastated camp and restore hope among the survivors. Your journey will lead you to negotiate alliances with merciless factions or wage war against them while striving to survive against overwhelming odds as a massive horde descends upon your town after ravaging Atlanta.

Realistic Ballistics

Urban Strife features a diverse array of weapon classes that reflect the gritty reality of a southern U.S. city: handguns, shotguns, hunting rifles, assault rifles, and sniper rifles. Each weapon has its strengths and weaknesses tailored for specific combat scenarios. For instance, handguns and shotguns shine in close-quarters battles due to their high damage output; handguns offer cumulative damage thanks to their low action point costs, while shotguns deliver devastating individual pellet impacts.

Targeting Body Parts

Assault rifles deliver impressive cumulative damage when fired in burst mode and can penetrate multiple targets—if you can afford the costly ammo! Additionally, players can aim for specific body parts with hunting and sniper rifles for either instant kills or crippling shots. The enjoyment of these weapons largely depends on your position in combat.

Melee Combat Options

The ranged weaponry is complemented by an extensive selection of melee options. Almost anything that can be wielded becomes a potential weapon—whether it’s a rolling pin, frying pan, or a customized baseball bat—offering players creative ways to engage enemies up close.

Engaging RPG Elements

As you explore this immersive world filled with NPCs striving to survive the apocalypse, you’ll encounter individuals willing to assist you—if you’re prepared to lend them a hand first. In Urban Strife, everyone has their own agenda.Three major factions vie for dominance through various proxy groups: rebel soldiers, a cult that reveres zombies, and a ruthless biker gang. You have the freedom to ally with any faction; however, be warned—none of these paths are straightforward or morally clear. In this harsh reality of survival, innocence is scarce.

Survival Mechanics

Upon entering Urban Shelter, you’ll find it in disrepair and inhabited by desperate refugees besieged by hostile bandits and wandering zombies. Your immediate goal is to reclaim control over the area swiftly. Begin rebuilding and expanding your shelter while scavenging for resources to prove yourself as the hero these people have been waiting for. As you repair and upgrade the shelter and hire locals as specialists while utilizing refugees for labor, forming alliances will unlock unique upgrades that enhance shelter management.

Classic Turn-Based Strategy with Innovation

Urban Strife employs a traditional Action Points system reminiscent of Jagged Alliance 2 but innovates to avoid common pitfalls associated with turn-based combat—especially when facing large groups of enemies like zombies. To address this challenge, we’ve introduced a dedicated turn for the horde that allows all undead foes to move simultaneously while still enabling individual AI decision-making.
